i’m a professional photographer based in bali.
Photography is my passion since I was 10. I was started to photograph building especially ancient building in bandung, indonesia. after I’ve struggle with some ancient gear and modern gear, I’ve decided my photography style is experimental art
In the art side, modern style inspires my photography, because Andy Warhol is my idol in art. His experimental art has so much influence in me.
I’ve used to write for some magazine, and that’s because my education background is journalism study.
After experimental art, I’ve interested in fashion photography and becoming a contributor in several fashion magazine.
Now, I explore wedding photography. I’ve mixed my passion in modern art, fashion and wedding, and my journalism style. In 2005 i’ve joined Indigo Studio in Surabaya.
Detail and moment are words which very hard to separate from wedding photographer. And I choose to compose it. The moment in somebody’s life is very important and very interesting to record it onto picture, wedding moment especially. A picture paints a thousand impressions to person whose enjoy it. Happiness, cheerfulness, melancholy, and also excitement. I try to capture that moment pixel by pixel with the latest digital technology, combine with an art of photography. therefore, people who look at it will be feel the emotion within.
I do not seek to direct the course of event in your wedding day; I instead allow the day to progress naturally. But I’ve tried to capture each moment as it unfolds before me. The atmosphere of wedding remains natural.
